MedsCheck & Diabetes MedsCheck

 

Both MedsCheck & Diabetes MedsCheck are Australian Government initiatives designed to improve patient education and understanding of their medicines and medical conditions.

Patients who meet the eligibilty criteria  set out by the Australian Governemnt are entitled to a FREE in-pharmacy consultation with a qualified Pharmacist. During this consultation the Pharmacist will aim to identify any medication-related problems the patient may be having, as well as attempt to improve patient understanding and knowledge of their medicines and medical conditions. The Diabetes MedsCheck is designed to assist patients with Type 2 Diabetes in optimizing their use of medicine, blood glucose testing and blood glucose control.
